Which UAE authority's pharmacist exam should I take?

It depends on where you will work: DHA for Dubai, DoH for Abu Dhabi, MOHAP for Sharjah, Ajman and the other emirates. All three run computer-based MCQ exams; DHA and MOHAP use Prometric. Pick the emirate where your employer is, then apply through that authority's portal.

What is the pass mark for the UAE pharmacist exam?

MOHAP publishes a clear rule: Pass or Fail against a 60% minimum. DHA reports only Pass or Fail in your Sheryan account and does not share your score. Check the current DHA guideline PDF for the pharmacist-specific row rather than coaching sites.

How many attempts do I get?

MOHAP allows a maximum of three attempts and states that a fourth is not allowed. DHA and DoH follow the unified PQR attempt rules; confirm the current rule with the authority before a repeat sitting.

Is there a fixed exam date?

No. DHA and MOHAP Prometric exams are booked on demand once your eligibility is issued; you choose a slot at a Prometric centre. DHA requires rescheduling at least five calendar days before the date and applies a strict no-refund policy.

Does MOHAP give a syllabus or reference books?

No. MOHAP states that it does not provide specific study references; the exam tests knowledge and competency in your field. Candidates rely on standard pharmacotherapy references, calculations practice and UAE pharmacy law.

When do I get the result?

For DHA, the result is uploaded electronically to your Sheryan account within two working days, shown as Pass or Fail only — your score is not shared. MOHAP results are processed automatically by the system and cannot be appealed.
