How the real TCF Canada levels are read
TCF Canada reports a level per skill, not a single pass/fail. Compréhension orale and Compréhension écrite are scored 0-699 (reported roughly 331-699); Expression écrite and Expression orale are rated 0-20 (reported roughly 4-20). Each skill score is converted to a CECR level (A1-C2) and then to a Canadian NCLC/CLB level used by IRCC. What counts as a pass depends entirely on the NCLC level your immigration programme requires. NCLC 7 across all four skills is the usual target for maximum francophone Express Entry points. The attestation is valid for two years.

The TCF Canada (Test de connaissance du français pour le Canada) is an official French-language test from France Éducation international, designed specifically for people applying for permanent residence or citizenship in Canada.
