What the SAT asks of you
The SAT is the College Board's undergraduate-admissions test, now fully digital and section-adaptive in the Bluebook app. It has two sections - Reading & Writing and Math - each delivered as two modules, where performance on the first module sets the difficulty of the second. About 98 questions in 2 hours 14 minutes, with an on-screen Desmos calculator allowed throughout Math and no penalty for wrong answers.
Reading & Writing tests four domains - Information and Ideas, Craft and Structure, Expression of Ideas, and Standard English Conventions - through short passages with one question each. Math tests Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry, mixing multiple-choice with student-produced (numeric) responses.
